11.2. General information
Coupling
Coupling is intended for short-term separate a niya of the engine and a transmission at gear shifting and braking and their smooth connection at start-off of an avtomoba of la from a place, and also for protection of details of transmission from dynamic loadings. The torque from a transmission on wheels is transmitted through power shafts which consist of two hinges of equal angular speeds and a shaft. Coupling consists of a disk of coupling, the leading part of coupling with a press disk and the coupling switching off mechanism. The disk of coupling is established between a flywheel and a press disk of coupling and moves on vents of primary shaft of a transmission. The leading knot of coupling is screwed by bolts on a flywheel. The torque during the operation of the engine is transmitted from a cranked shaft through a flywheel and a disk of coupling which is clamped between a flywheel and a press disk to primary shaft of a transmission. To disconnect the engine from a transmission, it is necessary to take away press a disk from a coupling disk. It is reached by use of the hydraulic drive which consists of the main cylinder, the working cylinder of coupling and hoses. Pressing of a pedal of coupling moves the piston in the main cylinder and compresses liquid which on a hose is transferred to the working cylinder. Under pressure the piston of the working cylinder moves and puts in action a coupling switching off fork. The fork of switching off of coupling moves press the bearing which influences a spring of a press disk and takes away press a disk from a coupling disk. |
