1.3. Maintenance
GENERAL INFORMATION

This head is intended to provide correctness of carrying out maintenance of the car, to help to support the car in proper condition and to prolong its service life. If maintenance was not held regularly, bad operation of the engine an investigation of it (incomplete return of power, strange behavior of the engine and so on) can become. In that case it is necessary to execute the following actions:

Primary actions

– clear, examine and check the accumulator;
– check all liquids connected with the engine;
– check a state and a tension of auxiliary driving belts;
– replace spark plugs;
– check a condition of a cover of the distributor and a rotor of the distributor;
– check a condition of high-voltage wires;
– check a condition of the air filter;
– check the cooling system.

If these actions were not effective, execute the following actions:

Secondary actions

– check system of ignition;
– check system of charging;
– check fuel system;
– replace the air filter;
– replace a cover of the distributor and a rotor of the distributor;
– replace high-voltage wires.
