Oil pressure in the engine

GENERAL INFORMATION

Recommendation

The control lamp of pressure of oil is not an oil level control device in the engine. Therefore it is necessary to check regularly oil level, it is best of all at each fuelling.


The control lamp lights up for some seconds at inclusion of ignition for working capacity check.

If the control lamp does not die away, it is necessary to check oil level in the engine and if necessary to add oil.

If at the movement the control lamp lights up or blinks, with a frequency of rotation of the engine more than 1500 rpm it is necessary to stop, switch off the engine, to check the level of oil and if necessary oil to add.

If the control lamp blinks in spite of the fact that oil level in the engine normal, it is impossible to continue the movement. The engine also should not idle. The qualified help is necessary.

In case during the movement the engine works at excessively low turns (frequency of rotation lower than idling rotation frequency), can happen so that the control lamp of pressure of oil will light up. Then it is necessary to increase the frequency of rotation of the engine a pedal of an accelerator or to pass to lower transfer.
