3.4.2. Engine 1MZ-FE

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The engine 1MZ-FE has no ignition distributor, and on each spark plug the ignition coil which copes computer signals is installed. For definition of VMT of the piston of the first cylinder in a step of compression remove the ignition coil with a high-voltage wire and unscrew a spark plug.

2. In an opening for a candle screw in the manometer with an adapter.
3. Rotating a cranked shaft of the engine, and watching indications of the manometer, define the moment when pressure shown by the manometer ceases to increase. It testifies that the piston of the first cylinder was installed in VMT in a compression step.
