6.4. Check of the fuel pump

6.4.1. Check of operability of the fuel pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Include ignition, but do not start the engine.
2. Connect contacts + B and Fp an additional wire on the control socket (see rice. Electric circuit of power supply of the fuel pump). On models with the engine 1MZ-FE V6 since 1994 toplivno go the pump make working capacity check, giving on the fuel pump additional wires accumulator tension, and determine operability of the fuel pump by noise of the working electric motor.
3. Remove the additional closing wire and close a cover of the control socket.
4. If when checking the fuel pump did not work, check the following electric components: the fuse on 15A of the EFI block; AM2 safety lock on 30A; main EFI relay; fuel pump; power-supply circuits of the electric pump and sockets (see rice. Electric circuit of power supply of the fuel pump).
