5.7.1. Check

GENERAL INFORMATION

Arrangement of the control unit of the fan of a radiator, contacts on the electric socket

 


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect an additional wire contacts of E1 and OR1 of the electric socket. Thus the fan of a radiator has to rotate with a speed about 1100 rpm.
2. The control unit of the fan of a radiator is located under a ware box. For check of electric chains of control of the fan of a radiator remove the lower casing of the dashboard and a ware box and disconnect the electric socket from the ECU block.
3. Check electric chains according to the table Check of Electric Chains.
4. For check of the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid disconnect the electric socket from the sensor and remove the sensor. Connect an ohmmeter to contacts of the sensor, install the sensor in the container with hot water and measure its resistance. Sensor resistance at the water temperature of 80 °C has to be in limits of 1480-1580 Ohms.
5. For check of the electromagnetic valve disconnect from it the electric socket and check resistance of a winding of the electromagnetic valve which has to make 7,6–8 Ohms at 25 °C.
